Universus CSEI, Training and Innovation University Consortium is located in Bari, the capital of the Puglia Region, which overlooks the Adriatic Sea, well connected with Lecce, Taranto, Brindisi and Foggia, as well as with Naples and Rome.
Bari is one of the largest cities in Italy, the third most important in Southern Italy, a place immersed in history and nature, between memory and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The city is spread along the coast, in a flat surface, but it also reach the tableland of the Murge layer.
The climate of Bari is typically Mediterranean, with gentle winters and dry summers. Rainfall in the city is very low and only in winter there are local rains.
The city has its origin during the Bronze Age, on the small promontory where today stands the Old Town , characterized by narrow streets and breathtaking views of the sea. After the Roman conquest, Bari increased its economic importance also due to the construction of the Via Appia Traiana.
Contended long between Byzantines, Lombards and Saracens, it was mainly by the Normans that the city experienced periods happy and prosperous.
